Carnival Cruise Line recategorize staterooms
Carnival Cruise Lines have announced that they will be recategorizing the staterooms on all of their ships. Starting with the Carnival Valour on August 18th, all of the cruise lines ‘Fun fleet’ will have their staterooms reclassified by the end of 2008.The accommodation onboard will now be based primarily on a variety of location aspects, being mid-ship, aft and forward, alongside the proximity to key public areas and specific decks will categorize the cabin into different groups.
When booking a Carnival cruise, you will be able to choose your cabins location by its category, which could mean you prefer a balcony cabin, on a particular deck, near your favourite public area. It does of cause mean there are lots more categories to choose from, however, individual’s preferences can be catered for and specific needs recognized.
Lynn Torrent, Carnival’s senior vice president of sales and guest services, believes "The change more clearly defines our available stateroom categories based on location and features and will enable guests to easily identify the category that best suits their specific needs and preferences," said
