We travelled down to San Juan from Manchester U.K. to sail on the Galaxy to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary on the Southern Caribbean Cruise(7th March/17th March). This Cruise had been booked for about 6 months and in this period of time we had read various reveiws on the ships falling standards prior to her refit in early spring,as the cruise was for a very special occasion we decided to push the boat out and booked a Royal Suite. On our arrival at the ship we can only say that from joining to departing the ship we could not pick a single fault (exept for the Jogging track but we wont go in to that) Our Stateroom Staff were excellent, and both our waiter Aleksandar from Serbia and Jacinto from Peru were nothing short of smashing. Our only disapointment of the entire occasion was the somewhat lack of manners of the Delta cabin crew from Atlanta / Manchester (maybe working a night flight is no fun but flying on one is no fun either. Manners cost nothing) In closing we would definately have no doubts about sailng on the Galaxy again in the future
