Pros: Has something for everyone
Cons: Some of Suites could be bigger
As one of the few people to visit Ventura before her naming ceremony, I have to say on first impressions on the dockside; I was not disappointed at all.  She lived up to all the hype that surrounded her.  Once onboard the experience got even better.  I viewed a variety of cabins and all were very light and airy, even the inside cabins.  Some were more spacious then others, but all had a separate storage/dressing area with en-suite bathroom, flat screen T.V, tea/coffee making facilities and dressing table.  I had a balcony cabin on Riviera Deck and the private balcony is big enough for two passengers to sit and relax on, however when standing up you can view balconies of those cabins below.I dined in the informal Waterside Restaurant for lunch/afternoon tea, which served an array of sandwiches, cakes, biscuits, scones, quiche, chips and other hot food; you could also help yourself to tea, coffee of water.  For dinner I dined at the Bay Tree Restaurant, which is one of the main dining rooms for club dining.  At both restaurants the food was delicious, with a variety to choose from whether you help yourself or choose from a menu.  The service I also received was of a high quality and always with a smile and friendly to talk to. There were plenty of bars to choose from, my favourite’s were the Metropolis which had floor to ceiling plasma screens to watch entertaining video footage from around the world, while a live bands play and sip cocktails.  Also Havana, which is Ventura’s Cuban themed nightclub so you can dance the night away, but also experience other forms of entertainment. This includes live bands, karaoke, cabaret or what I got experience, which were Kylie, Robbie Williams and Sir Elton John Impersonators.Other attractions I enjoyed on the ship were the Cirque Ventura, which I could see myself swinging around on the flying trapeze or bungee trampolines if given the chance.  The whole of the children’s area was absolutely fantastic; even I couldn’t resist playing air hockey.  Also the art work around the ship is beautiful and amazing; it makes you wonder how someone could create such pieces of work.

I would definitely recommend this ship to anyone and everyone, especially families and couples.  She is a ship to suit everyone tastes.
